How are country names translated?

The code list stays factual and the browser's Intl.DisplayNames API supplies a local display name when available.

Do my entries leave this device?

No tool value is sent, stored, logged, or placed in the URL. Closing or refreshing the tab clears the current work. Regular site analytics may still load without receiving the values.

What makes the selection random?

The tool uses the browser's Web Crypto getRandomValues source and unbiased integer selection. Filters and constraints change the eligible set, not the chance among remaining valid choices.

Worked example

Selecting Asia and Oceania, excluding JP and AU, and requesting three results draws three distinct eligible ISO entries.

Limits and checks

The inventory has 249 ISO 3166 alpha-2 country or area codes, including territories.
Flags are Unicode symbols and may appear as letters on some systems.
A random result is not travel, safety, visa, sovereignty, or political advice.
