Username Generator
Combine neutral adjective and noun components into non-identifying username ideas with explicit separators and suffix rules. The complete workflow runs locally in this browser, with visible controls and a result you can inspect before copying or downloading.
LOCAL WORKBENCH
Generate a result
No upload · no account · no URL storage
Ready. Entries and results stay in this browser tab.
Choose your settings, then select Generate.
How it works
- Securely select one original adjective and one original noun for every candidate.
- Apply the selected case and separator, then optionally append a secure fixed-width numeric suffix.
- Reject duplicate complete results in unique mode and report the available combination space.
Worked example
Lowercase with an underscore can produce quiet_heron; a two-digit suffix could produce quiet_heron42.
Limits and interpretation
- The component sets contain 20 adjectives and 20 nouns and a run contains at most 200 results.
- Availability, trademark, impersonation, offensiveness in every language, and platform rules are not checked.
- The generated handle contains no deliberate personal data, but users should review it before use.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
Frequently asked questions
- How does Username Generator make its random choices?
- Web Crypto samples positions from the complete adjective, noun, and optional suffix space; unique mode uses bounded sampling without replacement.
- Does Username Generator upload my inputs or results?
- No. Custom constraints, generated ideas, and output stay in the active browser tab and are not sent, logged, or stored by the tool.
- When should I use Username Generator?
- Use it to brainstorm a non-identifying handle, then check platform availability, context, and rights yourself.
