How it works
- Validate total heat capacity and preserve every competitor row.
- Securely shuffle and distribute competitors evenly, or serpentine listed seeds across heats.
- Assign lane numbers within each heat and report empty lanes or overflow competitors.
Worked example
Twelve competitors, two heats, and six lanes produce two full six-person heats.
Limits and interpretation
- At most 100 heats, 20 lanes each, and 2,000 competitors are accepted.
- Capacity below participant count leaves a visible overflow list.
- Qualification, timing, club separation, and official seeding procedures are outside this generic allocator.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
