How it works
- Parse named shift capacities and explicit unavailability pairs.
- Securely vary eligible candidates while filling the least-covered people's assignments first.
- Return a shift roster plus unfilled capacity and per-person workload totals.
Worked example
Four two-person shifts create eight slots distributed across six people without exceeding two shifts each.
Limits and interpretation
- At most 500 people, 500 shifts, 10,000 total slots, and 1,000 exclusions are accepted.
- The tool does not enforce labor law, rest periods, certifications, or contracted hours.
- Impossible coverage remains visibly unfilled instead of overriding availability.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
