Pair one Swiss-system round from current scores while avoiding rematches and balancing sides where possible. The complete workflow runs locally in this browser, with visible controls and a result you can inspect before copying or downloading.

Ready. Entries and results stay in this browser tab.

Choose your settings, then select Generate.

How it works

  1. Parse stable player rows with score, signed side balance, and explicit opponent labels.
  2. Group by score, securely break exact ties, and run a bounded adjacent-float pairing search.
  3. Report pairings, side assignments, float differences, rematches, and any bye.

Worked example

Players on three points pair within their score group first; an unmatched player may float to the two-point group.

Limits and interpretation

  • One round accepts 2–500 uniquely named players and up to 50 prior rounds of opponent text.
  • This is a transparent simplified Swiss pairing, not FIDE or another federation's certified algorithm.
  • Dense rematch or side constraints may make a perfect pairing impossible and will be flagged.
