How it works
- Parse stable player rows with score, signed side balance, and explicit opponent labels.
- Group by score, securely break exact ties, and run a bounded adjacent-float pairing search.
- Report pairings, side assignments, float differences, rematches, and any bye.
Worked example
Players on three points pair within their score group first; an unmatched player may float to the two-point group.
Limits and interpretation
- One round accepts 2–500 uniquely named players and up to 50 prior rounds of opponent text.
- This is a transparent simplified Swiss pairing, not FIDE or another federation's certified algorithm.
- Dense rematch or side constraints may make a perfect pairing impossible and will be flagged.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
