PRIVATE BROWSER TOOL · PHASE 2
Task Assignment Generator
Allocate named tasks to available people while honoring capacities and explicit person-to-task exclusions. The complete workflow runs locally in this browser, with visible controls and a result you can inspect before copying or downloading.

Choose your settings, then select Generate.
How it works
- Parse people, tasks, and explicit forbidden pairs without merging duplicate labels.
- Securely vary candidate order, then assign tasks under person and task capacity rules.
- Return every assignment plus a clear unassigned list if the constraints make a complete solution impossible.
Worked example
Six tasks and four people can give two people a second task when multiple assignments are allowed.
Limits and interpretation
- At most 500 people, 1,000 tasks, 1,000 exclusions, and 10,000 displayed assignments are accepted.
- The allocator does not infer skills, workload, or task duration.
- Impossible constraints produce unassigned rows rather than silently breaking a rule.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
Frequently asked questions
- How does Task Assignment Generator make its random choices?
- Secure shuffles vary equal-priority candidates; a deterministic constraint pass prevents forbidden or over-capacity matches.
- Does Task Assignment Generator upload my inputs or results?
- No. Names, schedules, assignments, and results remain in this browser tab and are never sent to a server.
- When should I use Task Assignment Generator?
- Use it for low-risk shared work where a visible random starting point is preferable to manual assignment.
