How it works
- Parse attendee rows, session capacities, and optional ranked preference names.
- Securely break ties within each preference rank while filling available capacity.
- Place unassigned attendees through declared fallback rules and report preference-rank outcomes.
Worked example
If two people rank the final Data stories seat first, a secure tie draw selects one and the other moves to the next eligible preference.
Limits and interpretation
- At most 1,000 attendees, 500 sessions, 10,000 slots, and ten preferences per attendee are accepted.
- Unknown preference labels are rejected rather than guessed.
- The allocator optimizes rank rounds, not a globally optimal satisfaction score.
Privacy
Your inputs and generated results stay in this browser. This tool does not put them in a URL, analytics event, server log, or external request.
